Hewitt Global Report -- Global Retirement Update

During the third quarter of the calendar year, employers in Mexico should begin to assess the impact of a new accounting rule (NIF D-3) on their employment liabilities. The new rule, which will align Mexican standards more closely to IAS19, will apply to pension plans, long-service awards, termination and retirement indemnities, and other post-retirement benefits.
